Artist Comments

This is the view from a side alley in Jaffa. I loved that the focal point was the Israeli Flag and the little apartment had painted their balcony to match the flag. The beautiful blue against the ancient stones is striking.

While I was there on site, I did a quick watercolour preliminary painting and took a lot of photos so that I would be able to paint a large painting when I got back to my studio.
